Goregast are a band from Berlin, Germany that mixes gore grindcore with death metal and this is a review of their 2011 album "Desechos Humanos" which was released by FDA Rekotz .

Drums range from slow, midpaced to fast drumming with a great amount of blast beats being thrown in at times,while the keyboards which are only used as an intro to the first song bring a very dark edge to the music, as for the bass playing it has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars .
Rhythm guitars range from slow, midpaced to fast grindcore riffs that also mix in some death metal influences in the music and there is a small amount of melody, while the lead guitars when they are utilized briefly have a very dark and morbid sound in the guitar solos.
Vocals are a mixture of deep death metal growls and high pitched grindcore screams, while the lyrics are written in a mixture of German and English with themes that touch on gory subjects, as for the production it has a very powerful, raw, heavy and brutal sound.
