Solace And Stable are a band from Kansas City, Missouri that plays a mixture of progressive metal and deathcore and this is a review of their self released 3 song demo "The Systematic Erosion of Integrity".
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being thrown into the music at times, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast riffs that combine progressive metal, technical death metal and deathcore together to create a sound of their along with a good amount of melody being thrown into the riffing, while the lead guitars are very melodic and technical sounding guitar solos and leads.
Vocals are mostly death/hardcore style screams and growls as well as a brief spoken word part b eing utilized on the last song, while the lyrics cover hateful and everyday themes, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound to it.
In my opinion Solace And Stable are a very good sounding hybrid of progressive metal, technical death metal and deathcore and if you are a fan of this style, you should check this band. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Design And Deceive". RECOMMENDED.
