Prostitute Disfigurement are a band from the Netherlands that plays a very heavy and brutal form of gore/death metal and this is a review of their 2014 album "From Crotch To Crown" which will be released by Willowtip.
The album starts out with some heavy and brutal death metal guitar riffs along with some blast beats as well as a mixture of growls and screams and after awhile they start mixing in some old school guitar solos as well as a mixture of mid paced and fast parts.
As the album progresses the band start bringing in an old school sound that is as brutal as modern death metal and when they mix in technical parts they are not overdone and the music focuses more on true death metal and after awhile the bass guitars also started sounding a lot more stronger and the band also starts adding in a small amount of spoken word samples and melody while retaining their brutal sound.
Prostitute Disfigurement display a lot of skill and talent with their music and while it is not very original sounding this band really knows how to combine brutal death metal with old school, melodic and technical elements and they create some good quality death metal.
Song lyrics cover violent and gore themes, while the production has a very strong, powerful, heavy, brutal and professional sound where you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording.
In my opinion Prostitute Disfigurement are a very great sounding brutal death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album.
