Rage In Silence are a band from Russia that plays a mixture of brutal death metal and grindcore and this is a review of their 2014 album "Doomsday butchery" which was released by Symbol Of Domination Records.
Dark sound effects start off the album and after a few seconds the music goes into a very fast and brutal direction t hat also sees a great amount of blast beats, guttural death metal growls and high pitched screams and the music is very heavily rooted in a more modern style of death metal and grindcore.
Throughout the recording there is a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and when guitar solos and leads are added into the music they bring in a very chaotic style of death metal and some songs also bring in electronic music samples and as the album progresses technical elements can also be heard in certain sections of some of the tracks as well as a small amount of clean playing also being brought in at times.
Rage In Silence plays a style of death metal that is very brutal and guttural and also mix in the energy of grindcore to create a style of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover violent, angry and hateful themes.
In my opinion Rage In Silence are a very great sounding mixture of brutal death metal and grindcore and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Braineater" "In Pain And Suffer" "Man ANd Decomposed Pig" and "16 Victim". 8 out of 10.
