Bestial Evil are a band from Maryland that plays a brutal mixture of death and thrash metal with a touch of black metal and this is a review of their 2016 album "Infectious Cross" which was released by Lost Apparitions Records.
A very heavy and aggressive sound starts off the album along with some blast beats a few seconds later as well as some high pitched screams that bring in a touch of black metal before mixing them in with death metal growls and the music goes for more of a brutal side of the genre while also adding in some melodies.
When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are done in a very dark yet melodic fashion and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while most of the tracks are very short in length and the music also brings in a great amount of thrash influences and the whole album also remains very heavy from beginning to ending of the recording.
Bestial Evil plays a musical style that takes brutal death metal and mixes it with old school thrash and a touch of black metal to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover Reptilian Aliens, Cannibalism, Fear and Death themes.
In my opinion Bestial Evil are a very great sounding mixture of death and thrash metal with some black metal touches and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "From Carnage To Cannibals" "Draconians" and "Infectious Cross". 8 out of 10.
